Regardless of your quality choice you first need a design. Because we can make sails in any conceivable size or shape your options are almost limitless and this can sometimes be a little overwhelming. At this point you may want some design assistance from our website or decide to have one of our dealers design and install the whole project for you. Either way, once a design is agreed upon it’s time to install the attachment points. This often involves specialty roof or corner brackets attached to your house. It is very important to select an appropriately strong structural connection which means that the optimum point may differ somewhat from the design. Similarly the location of masts may be affected by underground services and need to be relocated. Because we measure for the sails after the supports are installed it is a very flexible construction method and allows for making the best attachment choices and will achieve superior results every time. After installation of masts or brackets one has to very accurately measure from point to point and use this information to order the sail. This method allows us to make a sail shade that will fit your location almost perfectly. This results in a very tight fitting membrane which will fare much better under high winds and will last a lot longer, a true Tensioned Fabric Structure.
COMMERCIAL GRADE 280 GSM SAILS
Our Commercial Grade 280 GSM is a very high quality product produced to our engineering and design specifications by our factory in China and quality controlled by our Australian experts. These sails are constructed from 280 GSM extra heavy duty knitted shade cloth, and are an ideal, less expensive solution for domestic and commercial sail structures, where budget considerations are an issue. The fabric provides up to 90% UV protection and an 8 year warranty against UV breakdown of the cloth. Commercial grade 280GSM sails are available in a range of 5 colours.
You can make your choice according to your structural, dimensional and strength requirements combined with your budget. The 280 GSM sails typically cost 40 - 60% less than the 330 GSM.
PREMIUM COMMERCIAL GRADE 330 GSM SAILS
Our top-of-the-line Premium Commercial Grade sails are constructed from a 95% shade cloth with a 330gsm density. This is a well proven commercial grade product that has been tested under the harshest of conditions in Australia for many years, with superior tear and tensile strengths than any available shade cloths available in the world. These sail shades are manufactured in Australia to the most exacting standards and are truly the "Rolls Royce" of commercial sail shades. The fabric provides up to 95% UV protection and has a 10 year warranty against UV degradation. The manufacturer provides a 5 year warranty on workmanship, labour, thread, stitching, and components used in the fabrication of your end product. This fabric’s strength to weight ratio makes it ideal for larger commercial shade structure projects, where the shade cloth fabric is exposed to the harsh environmental conditions of wind, rain, hail, dust and UV exposure. Our premium commercial grade sails are available in a range of 14 fabulous contemporary and bright colours.
